at the heart of who i am,

I am a Storyteller.

For as long as I can remember, I've loved stories.

Writing them, telling them, and eventually picking up a camera and capturing them.

I believe that story is one of the greatest tools that we have as human beings to connect with one another at the deepest level. The way that beautiful poetry feels as it crosses your lips, so is the the process of making a photograph.

Whether it's sitting with a friend and a cup of coffee at 2pm or whispering words of calm and peace over a new baby at 2am, I find those moments of life to be the most life-giving. You know the ones I'm talking about, right? The ones that you may not notice as they're happening, but some time later, you reminisce and smile to yourself as the memory fills you up.

Capturing those vulnerable moments and preserving them for generations, so that not only you, but your families down the road can look back on the images sitting in front of them, and smile, too.

Because, if only for a moment, they felt what you felt..and I hope it fills them with the same feelings of love and joy.

It's truly and honor to do what I do, and I am so glad that you're here.
